Trudy Stroney Memorial Scullership

SELECTION PROCESS

  1. Each team member (rowers and coaches) will cast one vote after the VA State Championship Regatta.
  2. The two or three rowers with the most votes will write a statement in reference to the three "Trudy Stroney" traits, specifically demonstrating how they possess the three traits, and will send their statements via e-mail to the Stroney Family.
  3. The Stroney Family will decide on the winner of the scholarship. If there is a tie, the head coach is the tie breaker.
  4. The following items will be presented at the End of Year Albemarle Rowing Banquet: "The Trudy Stroney Memorial Scullership Recipient" perennial plaque with year and recipient's name engraved; a small token award; and a $500 award to be used as the recipient sees fit - in the "Trudy" spirit.
