2024 Team

Team participation is by invitation and based on tryout results. The season runs from late-February to early June. Team activities consist of on-the-water practice Mondays through Fridays at the boathouse and practice or regattas on Saturdays. Expect to practice during Spring Break and an occasional Sunday practice if needed.

• ​at USRowing (if not done already): USRowing Membership ($20/$25). Notes:Use code CA93J for Rivanna Rowing Club.You may renew your USRowing waiver early and the new expiration date will be calculated 1 year from the current expiration date.​
• ​at RRC/Boathouse Connect: Rivanna Rowing Club Junior Membership ($125)

  • $90/unisuit for RETURNING AHS Rower who ordered additional unisuits from Coach Coffman
  • $950 for RETURNING AHS Rower: team fees ($875) & jacket ($75)
  • $1040 for NEW AHS Rower:  team fees ($875), jacket ($75), unisuit ($90)
  • $1175 for STAB Rower: team fees, jacket, 2 unisuits

5. BRING CHECKS AND COMPLETED FORMS TO FEB-21 MANDATORY MEETING

• VHSL Physical (if not done already)

• Yearly Training and Media Release
• Team Guidelines Acknowledgement
• Transportation Consent Form (one per adult driver, if no drivers one for the rower)
• Family Volunteer Tasks Form
• Minor Athlete Dual Relationship Form (needed if rower has a relationship with a coach outside of rowing such as student of, works for, family friend of, etc.)
• HIPAA (for lightweight only)

Notes:

• ​Fees pays for all regular season practices and regattas.
• ​Any athlete that qualifies for away regattas such as Stotesbury or Nationals will have additional fees to cover those specific events.
