frank Vasquez

Frank learned to row in 2010 at Gonzaga College High School in Washington, DC, where he was a member of the Varsity Eight that finished 4th at the Head of the Charles in 2013, won the Stotesbury Cup in 2013 and won the SRAA National Championship in 2014. In college, Frank rowed for theUniversity of Virginia. After missing his first year due to injury, he earned 3 ACRA national championship medals and 3 Head of the Charles medals, including a course record time in the collegiate eight in 2017. Frank learned to scull and competed for Potomac Boat Club each summer from 2012-2016, finishing 3rd at USRowing U23 Trials in the 4x in 2016. Frank is currently a part time assistant coach for the UVA men and Albemarle High School juniors. At his day job, Frankis a biomedical engineer for the MITRE Corporation working at Research Park.
