Before coming to Albemarle, Caroline rowed for 4 years at Western Albemarle High School from 2015-2019. Throughout her time at Western, she earned 3 silver medals at SRAA’s in the JV 2x, Lightweight 4x, and Varsity 4x, and 1 silver medal at Stotesbury Cup regatta in the Varsity 2x. Caroline also rowed at George Washington University from 2019-2022 before medically retiring from a rib injury in 2022. After retiring from collegiate rowing Caroline shifted her focus to coaching, and in the spring of 2022 she coached both the varsity and novice junior teams at TBC Racing in their inaugural spring program. She began coaching for Albemarle during the summer of 2022, and returned after graduating from GW in 2023. In addition to coaching, Caroline currently works as an overnight residential counselor at the Keswick School, and has plans to pursue a Master’s in Social Work degree.
